The new agreement enables MITIM Professional Services to empower customers with their cloud-based XML authoring process. As part of the partnership, MITIM can offer the MITIM XML Editor which works with Teamcenter®, the world’s most widely used lifecycle management software from Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Teamcenter helps companies plan, develop, and deliver innovative products, including solutions to reuse engineering content in technical publications. The partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software enables MITIM Professional Services to offer browser-based XML authoring compliant with industry standards, including DITA and S1000D. This allows universal access to the authoring environment through modern web browsers across various devices, including tablets.

Combined with Teamcenter component content management, the authoring application enables technical writers to create and manage technical publications within the PLM digital thread. Writers have direct access to the product information they are documenting and can view 3D visuals and engineering change as they happen.

The MITIM XML Editor and Teamcenter also enhance software maintenance operations by eliminating the resources necessary for individual or local software installations and support, freeing up valuable resources.

MITIM XML Editor version 1.2 is now available and fully integrated with Teamcenter.
